Fontainebleau High School has joined the Knights’ LAK Summer Program for the 2024 summer. Coming off of advancing to the second round of the Division I state playoffs and having five senior college signees, the Bulldog program will now be guided by Coach Rickey Noland who looks to build off of last year’s success. The Bulldogs compete in the highly competitive Louisiana Division I Non-Select, District 6-5A and will be an excellent addition to the Knights’ LAK Program.

With respect to adding FHS as an LAK Partner, Knights President Jack Cressend said the following: “We are absolutely thrilled to have Coach Noland and the Bulldogs join the LAK program. Each year we strive to make our organization stronger by entering into the right partnerships with quality people – there are few better than Coach Noland. We are very familiar with the entire staff and look forward to working with their players and their families to achieve greater success together.” Cressend added, “Great things are ahead for Bulldog Baseball.”

Fontainebleau Head Baseball Coach Rickey Noland was likewise excited about his program’s partnership with the Knights. He had the following to say about joining the Knights’ LAK Program, “I couldn’t be more excited for our players and families to announce our partnership with the Knights. I have seen firsthand that when it comes to promoting players, providing advanced baseball resources through its vast network, and assisting players reach a goal of playing at the next level, there is simply no organization that does it better than Knights Knation Baseball.” Noland added, “Being associated with such a well-respected organization will be a tremendous benefit to not only our program, but most importantly our players. We are extremely excited to join the Knights and look forward to a great partnership.”

The Knights launched the LAK Summer Program seven- years ago to partner with elite Louisiana High School Programs – to bridge the gap between high school and select baseball. The Knights’ LAK Program was created with the vision to partner with the very best high school programs in our region to work together for the benefit of players. Experience has proven time-after-time that when you put your players first everyone wins. Fontainebleau will join Catholic, Live Oak, Brother Martin, Parkview Baptist, Zachary, STM and Holy Savior Menard High Schools to play its summer baseball under the Knights’ umbrella. The LAK partners will all participate in the highly recruited LAK Classic run by 2D Sports at the end of June 2024.

The Knights’ mission is to provide its players with all the necessary resources to fully develop not only as baseball players but also as young men. Player development is the organization’s central focus to guide players to become the best version of themselves.
