Knights Knation is excited to announce its expansion into the state of Arkansas with the addition of alum Josh Walker who will serve as director. Walker is a former Knights player and is currently based in Fayetteville. Josh will begin with a 14U team this coming Spring / Summer and will look to further establish the Knights presence in the state of Arkansas. Knights Knation currently has teams based in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Texas and the Midwest.  Walker was a 2022 graduate of Hartfield Academy in Mississippi and played for the Knights from 2020-2022. He signed to play at Arlington Baptist but sustained a career ending wrist injury during the State Playoffs his senior year.  He is currently attending the University of Arkansas and has a passion for teaching and coaching the game of baseball.

Walker had this to say about re joining the Knights, ” My time as a player with the Knights was very special. The entire Knights Staff helped me in so many ways. They made me a better player, a better person, and helped me reach my goal of being a College Baseball player. Today I am very excited to be able to partner once again with the Knights, this time as a  Coach and give back to baseball by helping other young players achieve their dreams of playing High school and College Baseball.”

Knights CEO / President Jack Cressend  shared his thoughts on the expansion into Arkansas, ” We are fired up to have alum Josh Walker get things rolling in Arkansas and think he will be the perfect fit. He understands the values and beliefs of our organization and will be a great representative of Knights Knation. We look forward to growing our program and developing players in the great state of Arkansas.”

Tryout information and further details will be announced soon. The Knights’ mission is to provide its players with all the necessary resources to fully develop not only as baseball players but also as young men. Player development is the organization’s central focus to guide players to become the best version of themselves. #4L
