Knights Knation Baseball is excited to announce the addition of Sam Houston High School to its LAK Summer Program. The Broncos are annually among the elite programs in the state of Louisiana and are led by Head Coach Chad Hebert. The Broncos are coming off a 27-4 record in 2023 advancing to the Division 1 Non-Select Semi Finals and are primed to make another deep run in 2024.
Head Coach Chad Hebert expressed his thoughts on the partnership, “It is a no brainer to join forces with the Knights. In all my years of travel baseball and coaching at the high school level, I have never seen a group as detailed as the Knights. The post-game reports, the written player evaluations, the ability to get information to the scouting community is next level. I truly believe this is a big win for our program and our players.” Hebert knows the Knights program from the inside having been a head coach in the program for two summers in 2021-2022.
President / CEO Jack Cressend commented “Chad Hebert and Sam Houston have been on our radar for a long time, and we are thrilled to partner with the Broncos. They consistently produce high level players and develop winners on and off the field. We look forward to working together for years to come.”
The Knights launched the LAK Summer Program seven- years ago to partner with elite Louisiana High School Programs – to bridge the gap between high school and select baseball. The Knights’ LAK Program was created with the vision to partner with the very best high school programs in our region to work together for the benefit of players. Experience has proven time-after-time that when you put your players first everyone wins. Sam Houston will join Catholic, Live Oak, Brother Martin, Parkview Baptist, Zachary, Holy Savior Menard and Fontainebleau High Schools to play its summer baseball under the Knights’ umbrella. The LAK partners will all participate in the highly recruited LAK Classic run by 2D Sports at the end of June 2024.
The Knights’ mission is to provide its players with all the necessary resources to fully develop not only as baseball players but also as young men. Player development is the organization’s central focus to guide players to become the best version of themselves.
