Knights Knation Baseball is pleased to announce that beginning this summer,
Brother Martin High School will become a member of the exclusive LAK Summer
Baseball Program. The Crusaders are undoubtedly one of the more celebrated
baseball programs in the New Orleans area and the State of Louisiana – as one of
the anchors of the always competitive catholic league.

When asked about the addition of Brother Martin, Knights President, Jack Cressend,
had this to say – “we are super excited to add an elite, storied program like Coach
Lupo’s group. From Coach Barry Hebert to Coach Wizniewski, and now Coach Lupo,
Brother Martin has always done a tremendous job preparing their players to play
the game at a high level, having helped a number of their players get to the next
level – state championships don’t happen by accident.” Cressend added, “We are
thrilled to combine resources to help young men reach their fullest potential. As we
have seen with our other LAK Partners, the summer becomes a ton of fun when we
all work together for the benefit of the player.”

Brother Martin Head Baseball Coach Jeff Lupo agreed with Cressend’s comments.
“At Brother Martin our goal is to give our young men the resources, whether in the
classroom or outside, to develop into the best version of themselves. Our
partnership with the Knights will help us advance that goal.” Lupo went further to
say, “the baseball landscape has changed tremendously in the last ten years, with a
strong emphasis now on summer tournament baseball. Jack and his group know
that landscape better than anyone in the region and will bring tons of experience
and knowledge to our families. We are extremely excited to partner with the
Knights.”

The Knights launched the LAK Summer Program four years ago to partner with elite
Louisiana High School Programs – to bridge the gap between high school and select
baseball. Brother Martin will join Barbe, Catholic, Live Oak, Mandeville, and
Teurlings Catholic High Schools to play its summer baseball under the Knights’
umbrella. The LAK partners will all participate in the highly recruited LAK Classic hosted
by 2D Sports at the end of June.

The Knights’ mission is to provide its players with all the necessary resources to fully
develop not only as baseball players but also as young men. Player development is
the organization’s central focus to guide players to become the best version of
themselves.
